Depending on the plan you choose, Telstra has a range of mobile phones available. All you have to do is pick the mobile phone you want with the plan that best suits your needs. You can then get connected in four easy steps.


Step 1: Choose a plan

With Telstra's Phone Plans, not only is there a monthly amount of included calls for voice, SMS and MMS, there's also an allocation for data services, such as searching Whereis® on your mobile phone.

When choosing a Phone Plan you'll need to consider your minimum monthly spend, the call rates, included calls and what your usage is likely to be.  Regardless of your minimum monthly spend and to get more value out of your plan, you can choose a Bonus Option in Step 3.

All of these plans are on a 24-month contract and give you the choice of a Bonus Option.

Step 2: Choose a mobile phone to suit your plan

Step 3: Choose a Bonus Option

Telstra gives you a choice of Bonus Options³ so you can tailor your mobile phone package to suit your usage and get maximum value. With six choices, there are options to suit everyone.

20c for 10 min Night - For people who like to talk at night.
Pay 20c for the first 10 minutes of national voice or video calls to any other mobile phone on any Australian network, from 8pm-7am, 7 days a week.  Better yet, there's no call connection fee.

Free 24/7- For people who call the same number regularly.
Nominate one Telstra mobile phone or any eligible fixed line number in Australia and for the first 3 minutes of the voice or video call, it's free, anytime. There's also no call connection fee. (A $3 set-up fee applies)

Free Text - For people who text a lot of Telstra mobiles.
Send 200 free SMS messages to any other Telstra mobile  phone in Australia between 8pm and 7am each night. Plus, all other SMS to Telstra mobile phones or mobile phones on other networks in Australia will be charged at 15c per SMS at all times.

Free 50 Text - For people who text a couple of times a day.
Send 50 free text messages to any mobile phone on any network in Australia (or 50 free Talking Text messages on a Telstra home phone) each month, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.²

My Hour - For people who like to catch up with friends and family during an allocated time.
Nominate one hour of the day or night to receive the first 20 minutes of each voice or video call within that hour - free. You can call any eligible fixed or mobile phone number within Australia any day of the week. (Not available on $10 Member plans.)

Per Second Saver - For people who make lots of short calls.
Only pay for the time that you use. Voice and video call rates are charged per second instead of in 30 second blocks, 24 hrs, 7 days. A 27c call connection fee applies.

Step 4: Bringing it all together

Browsing Packs

Stay connected and up-to-date with BigPond® Mobile Services. You can get maps and directions from Whereis® Mobile, check out live sports updates and download music - all from your mobile phone. To help manage your data usage, Telstra offers a great range of Browsing Pack options.

Online Billing

There are five great reasons to register and use Online Billing:

  1. Itemised bill - all your calls are itemised and you can match names to numbers (eg. John, instead of 0412345678) to keep track of who you call.
  2. Check your bill - check your bill online, and even check those calls yet to be billed. If you have a Next G™ or 3G mobile phone, you can also check this from your mobile phone using My Account.
  3. Save the environment - Telstra customers receive 216 million A4 sheets of paper in bills every year. Help reduce the impact on our environment by registering with My Account and turning your paper bill off.
  4. Manage your account - allows you to add and remove additional services (like silent number) and change plans easily by yourself.
  5. Query your bill - save time and choose to query individual call charges from your computer without having to call and speak to an operator.

Rewards

With Reward Options, Telstra gives you even more reason to package your Telstra services.

If you have an eligible fixed service with Telstra plus at least one other eligible Telstra service, such as a mobile phone, BigPond internet or Pay TV account - simply bundle them together into one package and be rewarded.4
