Unlock my SIM card

If you can’t remember your PIN and want to unlock your SIM card, you’ll need an 8-digit Personal Unlocking Key (PUK) code.

How do I find my PUK code?

Important

If you’ve got a Pre-Paid plan, you won’t be able to find your PUK in My Telstra. Contact us for help.

There are two ways to find your PUK code if you’ve got a post-paid or Upfront Plan:

Sign in to My Telstra in a browser using your Telstra ID
On the homepage, find the mobile service you want to unlock in the Account overview section, and select the Manage link.
You will see your 8-digit PUK code on the Plan details page.

Sign in to My Telstra app
Go to Services then select your mobile service
Select the More menu on the top right corner of the screen and View your PUK.
