IP Address Delegation
IP addresses allocated by Telstra Internet Direct are only available to customers who are single homed to Internet Direct (ie. Internet Direct is the only link to the Internet). IP addresses provided by Telstra Internet Direct may only be routed via Telstra Internet Direct and must be relinquished should you choose to access the Internet via another provider.
Note that you are allocated a static public IP address with each Full National Number / Internet Port – this is the only IP address that can be used to connect to Internet Direct via the WAN link
Additional Telstra Internet Direct allocated IP addresses can be applied for by completing the IP Address application form.
If you require portable IP addresses or you intend to be multi-homed, you should apply to the Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC) for IP address space.
