Note: Minimum initial connection period for all access types is 12 months (Minimal Term).
If your Internet Direct service is cancelled before the end of the 12-month minimum term, we may charge you an early termination charge. This is equal to 65% of the monthly charges for your Internet Direct service that would have been payable for the remainder of the 12-month minimum term on your chosen pricing plan.
ADSL Migration Charges
The once-off Connection Charge for Telstra Internet Direct ADSL will be waived for customers:
- Upgrading from an existing Telstra Internet Direct dedicated modem or ISDN service (service must be at the same premises).
- Migrating from Telstra BigPond Broadband ADSL (service must be at the same premises).
Monthly Charges – Tiered Pricing
Tiered Pricing is made up of two components:
- a fixed Monthly Standard Charge which incorporates a fixed download Gigabyte Allowance per Month; and
- excess Usage Charges, if the download Gigabyte Allowance is exceeded.
Minimum Gigabyte Allowance
For each type of Connecting Carriage Service and speed, a minimum Gigabyte Allowance applies. You must select a plan with at least the minimum Gigabyte Allowance for your access type and speed.

The Monthly Charge for Fixed Pricing varies depending on your access speed. The minimum Access Speed is 56 kbps. There are no download limits or excess usage charges. Fixed Pricing is available for Telstra Internet Direct ADSL services via Business Broadband.
Note: Backchannel Tariff does not apply to Fixed Pricing.

PLEASE NOTE:
- Telstra Internet Direct defines a Megabyte as one million (1,000,000) bytes, and a Gigabyte as one thousand (1,000) Megabytes.
- ISDN Access is only available up to 256Kbps. ISDN access of 128Kbps and above requires the use of Multilink PPP.
