Router Charges
Telstra Internet Direct can supply a range of router package options to cater for your connectivity requirements. You can use other routers and modems for your connection, however Telstra cannot provide installation, maintenance or support.

The following tables detail the pricing for each router package.
Basic Package
If you choose a Basic router package, Telstra provides the router only with standard Cisco configuration and security features, and does not provide installation, maintenance or support. The following once-off charges (inclusive of GST) apply.
Note: If using a Cisco 857 router for ADSL carriage into your Internet Direct service, then you will receive the advanced security features with your basic package.

Advanced Package
If you choose an Advanced router package, Telstra provides the router only with standard Cisco configuration and advanced security features, and does not provide installation, maintenance or support. The following once-off charges (inclusive of GST) apply.
Note: If using a Cisco 857 router for ADSL carriage into your Internet Direct service, then you will receive the advanced security features with your basic package.

Managed Package
If you choose the Managed router package, Telstra pre-configures the router to connect to the Telstra Internet Direct network and professionally installs the router at your site. Standard security features are included. The following once-off charges (inclusive of GST) apply.

You can also select a maintenance option to have the router fully supported by Telstra with a choice of either standard (business hours) or extended (24 hours x 7 days) maintenance. The following additional recurring monthly maintenance charges (inclusive of GST) apply to such maintenance:

MIGRATION OFFERS - for existing Telstra Internet Direct modem OR Telstra BigPond Broadband* ADSL customers ONLY.
If you are an upgrading Telstra Internet Direct Modem customer or you are migrating / upgrading your Telstra BigPond Broadband ADSL service, the following discounted once off charges (inclusive of GST) apply to the Managed Router package:

*Note: If you are migrating your Telstra BigPond Broadband ADSL service to Telstra Internet Direct and keeping your Telstra BigPond Broadband ADSL modem and you are still within your initial contract period for the Telstra BigPond Broadband ADSL service, cancellation fees may apply in accordance with the Telstra BigPond Broadband ADSL terms and conditions.
If you are migrating your Telstra BigPond Broadband ADSL service to Telstra Internet Direct and you are returning your Telstra BigPond Broadband ADSL modem to Telstra, Telstra will waive the cancellation fees for terminating the Telstra BigPond Broadband ADSL service prior to expiration of the initial contract period, provided that the modem is returned in good working order (as determined by Telstra)
