Ways to recharge
Recharge up to the amount you need to suit you, whether you just want to check your email each day, or whatever you're into on the web.
You can recharge using the following payment options:
Credit / debit card
Recharging with your credit / debit card
From the My Account main menu on your Connection Manager, on your tablet home screen, or at myprepaid.telstra.com (from your mobile), you'll be able to select a recharge amount and enter in your credit / debit card details. You'll also have the option to save your credit / debit card details for future recharges and schedule monthly recharges to take the hassle out of recharging.
Adding Credit Card Details: You can add and remove credit cards easily via My Account. Just go the My Account icon on your home screen (you did this when you activated your service). Then select ‘Recharge’ and then 'Credit Card'.
You’ll also be prompted to add a 4 digit PIN, to keep your details safe.
Electronic Voucher or Card
Recharging with a recharge card or electronic voucher (evoucher)
Exactly like a Pre-Paid mobile, you can purchase an Electronic voucher or card from over 5500 Telstra Shops or participating retailers including:

Recharge cards and electronic vouchers are available in the following denominations

You can easily activate your voucher from the My Account main menu, either via your Connection Manager, on your tablet home screen or online.
Credit Me2U®
Recharge using Credit Me2U®
With Credit Me2U you can transfer credit between Telstra Pre-Paid services, or recharge a Telstra Pre-Paid service from your Telstra Post-Paid mobile account.
Choose from one of the following Credit Me2U options:

Make sure you check the mobile phone number and amount before sending, as transferred credit cannot be reversed or cancelled once confirmed.
BPAY®
Recharging using BPAY®
BPAY allows you to recharge your Telstra Pre-Paid mobile service via internet or phone banking. You can even set up automatic recharges.
- Step 1. Log on or call up your financial institution's internet banking or phone banking service to make a payment of any amount between $20 and $100 from your cheque or savings account only.
- Step 2. Select the 'BPAY' option and follow the prompts given by your participating financial institution. Please make a note of your receipt number.
Telstra Pre-Paid Biller Code is 150979.
Your Customer Reference Number is your 10 digit mobile number. - Step 3. We'll send you a text message when the credit has been added to your Telstra Pre-Paid service. The recharge credit should be applied to your Telstra Pre-Paid mobile service one banking day after your payment is received by Telstra.
Please note that as per any other BPAY transaction there may be a delay if you miss your bank's cut off times for BPAY transactions and on weekends and public holidays. You will need to be registered with your financial institution for telephone or internet banking to use BPAY.

PayPal™
Recharge using your PayPal™ account
Recharge straight from your mobile or online using your PayPal™ account. You will need your mobile number, your phone and your PayPal account details. If you don't already have a PayPal™ account you can sign-up to PayPal by registering here.
Once you've registered, you can use your PayPal™ account to recharge via the Connection Manager, or straight from your tablet:
Click on the My Account icon
- Step 1. Select the Recharge option.

- Step 2. Select the PayPal™ option.
- Step 3. Select the amount you would like to recharge.
- Step 4. Enter the PayPal™ recharge PIN you set up when you registered.
- Step 5. Confirm the amount you want to recharge.
- Step 6. You will receive a confirmation message with your new balance and credit expiry date.

Telstra Pre-Paid Mobile Broadband
From your USB device
- Click on the My Account icon on the Connection Manager.
- Select the CreditMe2U option.
- Enter the phone number of the Telstra Pre-Paid service you want to transfer credit to.
- Enter how much credit you would like to send (between $1 and $10 a day). You'll be asked to confirm this. There is a 25c charge for each successful credit transfer.
From your Wi-Fi device
- Go to https://myprepaid.telstra.com/mbb
- Select the CreditMe2U option.
- Enter the phone number of the Telstra Pre-Paid service you want to transfer credit to.
- Enter how much credit you would like to send (between $1 and $10 a day). You'll be asked to confirm this. There is a 25c charge for each successful credit transfer.
Telstra Pre-Paid mobile to your Telstra Pre-Paid Mobile Broadband
- Click on the BigPond portal on your WAP enabled mobile. You may need to reset your WAP settings
- Scroll down and select My Account or access My Account via the My tab on 3G/Next G handsets.
- Select Pre-Paid Transfer.
- Select the Credit Me2U option.
- Enter the phone number of the Telstra Pre-Paid Mobile Broadband you want to transfer credit to.
- Enter how much credit you would like to send (between $1 and $10 a day). You'll be asked to confirm this. There is a 25c charge for each successful credit transfer.
Or you can access My Pre-Paid by pressing #100# Send on your mobile. On some mobiles you may need to press OK/answer twice.
Telstra post-paid mobile to your Telstra Pre-Paid Mobile Broadband
With post-paid Credit Me2U, you can perform a one-off credit transfer or set up a regular scheduled transfer to a Telstra Pre-Paid mobile.
- Click on the BigPond portal on your Telstra post-paid 3G/Next G handset.
- Access My Account via the My tab.
- Select Pre-Paid Transfer.
- Choose the Mobile account (Credit Me2U) option and follow the prompts. Recurring transfers need to be set up 24 hours in advance and require you to create a PIN. There is a 25c charge for each successful credit transfer. Any amount credited will be charged to your post-paid mobile bill, in addition to the monthly access charge.
Or you can access My Pre-Paid by pressing #100# Send on your Telstra post-paid mobile. On some mobiles you may need to press OK/answer twice.
Each Telstra post-paid mobile can transfer:
- a maximum of $100 per month by one-off credit transfer
- a maximum of $300 per month by scheduled transfer
- a maximum of $400 per month combined one-off and scheduled transfers.
