Telstra Business Video Connect gives you the choice of a number of video conferencing options depending on your business needs. It lets your staff to easily interact with each other face-to-face, as frequently as they like and help improve your business communication, productivity and inter-office relationships.
How it works
You simply pick your bundle and add on any additional options you might need, and then our technicians will take care of the installation and system set up for you. You’ll also have ongoing support from a dedicated Telstra service team.

Business Video Connect Packs
Each bundle provides a complete video conferencing set-up - including cabling, cart, built-in audio and Telstra support, with the option to purchase or rent your equipment. You can then add on additional features such as a hosted bridge and extra equipment.
You’ll also need to get the access services for the connection and carriage of video conferencing from us separately.

The Single Screen bundles is best suited for small to medium sized meeting rooms with up to 6 participants.
The Dual Screen Bundle is best suited for medium to large sized meeting rooms with up to 10 participants.
The Desktop Solution is best suited for small meeting rooms with up to 2 participants or can be placed at a desk for one person.

If you’ve already got video conferencing equipment, you can simply add a Hosted Bridge to allow multiple parties to join a conference.
The Desktop Video Soft Client lets your staff videoconference remotely from their laptop using their webcam to any Business Video Connect multiparty conference.
- Personal computer with minimum systems requirement, as set out in the application form.
- Broadband internet access for carriage of video conferencing. Recommended uplink and downlink speeds of 512kbps.

If you’ve already got video conferencing equipment and the necessary access services, you can simply add a Hosted Bridge (available for HDX series only) to allow multiple parties to join a conference.
Hosted Bridging lets participants join you for a conference that is hosted by us, without expensive on-premise bridging equipment or attendee limitations. The Hosted Bridge can provide business-to-business access on the Telstra Next IP® network, as well as access from ISDN or mobile networks*.
Business-to-Business conferencing on the Telstra Hosted Bridge over IP is available when all participants have Hosted Bridge Subscriptions.

The Internet Gateway allows customers with to enter a Video Conference via any Internet connection further extending the use of your Video Conferencing equipment. More people will be able to join Video Conference meetings making the solution more flexible, accessible and valuable. Price is included in the Business Video Connect bundle price, and there is no usage charges associated with the Internet Gateway.

With these single or dual screen carts, your Business Video Connect components are contained in one elegant, ergonomic arrangement, saving you the trouble of buying furniture for your solution.
Eagle Eye™ Camera
The easy-to-operate, stylish and versatile camera choice that can pan, tilt and zoom, keeping you in the picture and providing you with a HD visual communication.
High quality screens
The meeting room display that lets you see the other people linked to your video conference. Choose from a selection of HD-TV screens, including HD plasma, LED and LCD. Our quality screens have a HD display with a built-in digital TV tuner, so they can double as an office TV monitor. They provide simple plug-and play set-up. There are a range of sizes in both single and dual screen bundles.
HDX 4000 Screen
The HDX4000 takes the functionality of the HDX7000 and puts it in an attractive desktop unit with a 20” HD Screen. The system comes with built-in speakers, HD Camera, and the ability to share content with the Polycom People & Content software. The HDX4000 also has a headset jack for private conferencing. All these key features make the HDX4000 series the ultimate in desktop conferencing, giving you total control without having to move to a dedicated VC room.
Polycom® HDX6000™ or HDX7000™ Codec
The encoder/decoder device that converts your camera feed so it can be transferred across the Next IP™ network. Essentially the ‘brains’ of your Business Video Connect pack, it’s a set-and-forget device that can easily be hidden out of sight. The HDX7000 also allows you to share content while still viewing the other meeting room.
